Jesus, 33, of Nazareth, passed away after being brutally beaten and crucified on a wooden cross, at Golgotha (the place of the skulls). He was born to Mary and Joseph through the Holy Spirit and is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, the Messiah, through whom people can be saved.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem, where he was sheltered in a stable. Then, his mother and father took him to Egypt for a period of time, because King Herod was searching to kill him. Once the death of King Herod had passed, he was taken to the district of Galilee, to a town called Nazareth.

He came out of Galilee and was baptized by John the Baptist, his cousin, in the Jordan River. At the moment of his baptism, the Spirit of God descended upon him. From there, he headed into the desert, lead by the Spirit of God, where he was tempted by the Devil. In the desert he fasted for forty days and forty nights. When he was extremely hungry, Satan came and tried to tempt him with food and power. However, he told Satan that he was made for God’s pleasure only, and Satan left him.

He went back to Nazareth and lived in Capernaum, where he began to preach the words of repentance to those willing to listen. He also called Peter, Andrew, James, and John to leave their lives of sin, and follow him to become fishers of men. Then, he went into Galilee healing and spreading the word of God to the multitudes. He taught his disciples the beatitudes, and told them the values of true happiness. He also taught all those willing to listen of murder, adultery, divorce, oaths, love for others, giving, prayer, fasting, heaven, worrying, judgment, asking, seeking, knocking, gates of Heaven and Hell, the Sabbath, fruitfulness, sheep and goats, paying taxes, divorce, and the knowledge of the kingdom of God. He had obtained his own knowledge from the Word of God, divine prayer, and from the Holy Spirit. He had never sinned, while here on this earth.

Jesus was a miraculous healer, and loving person who attained great faith. He touched all kinds of disabled people, from paralytics to those that were demon possessed. He also preformed astounding miracles, such as, calming storms and feeding multitudes of people. The high priests and elders were always questioning his authority and beliefs. The authorities were always trying to find some way of accusing Jesus of injustice. However, they could never discover a way to arrest him justly, so they plotted to arrest and kill him, for they did not understand him and were jealous of his wisdom and authority.

He gave his twelve disciples; Peter, John, Andrew, James, Phillip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James, Thaddeus, Simon, and Judas, the power to drive out demons and heal all diseases. He told them to go and preach the good news to all those that were lost. He predicted his death many times and continued to denounce the hardened hearts of the high priests and elders. He always taught lessons in parables, to let the disciples understand more clearly of what he was trying to say. Jesus taught many parables, such as; the parable of the sower, the parable of the weeds, the parable of the mustard seed and yeast, the parable of the hidden treasure and the pearl, the parable of the net, the parable of the lost sheep, the parable of the unmerciful servant, the parable of the two sons, the parable of the wedding banquet, the parable of the ten virgins, and the parable of the talents. All of the parables he told, constantly could be compared with the people’s every day lives.

Then he learned that his cousin, John the Baptist, had been beheaded by King Herod. This left him in a time of great morning for his cousin. Afterward, He went on a high mountain to go and worship God with Peter, James, and John. At that moment, he was transformed and his face was shining radiantly, and his clothing was luminous. He was then, welcomed into Jerusalem riding on a donkey, by palm branches and praises of Hosanna.

He predicted that one of his disciples, Peter, would deny him three times, and that Judas would betray him into the hands of men. Once Judas had betrayed him, and he was arrested and taken away, Peter had denied Jesus three times. He was betrayed and arrested at Gethsemane, where he had been praying powerfully for the Lord’s will to be done. He was then arrested and taken to the high priests and elders, who had him flogged and beaten in the synagogues. Then he was taken to Pilate, who on account of the angry crowd delivered Jesus over to the soldiers to be crucified. He was severely beaten, struck on the head, whipped ruthlessly, and a crown of sharp, daggering thorns was placed upon his innocent head. The soldiers made him carry a heavy and ruff cross, painfully resting on his inflamed back to the place of his crucifixion. Then three massive spikes were harshly driven into his tender hands and feet.

After he slowly died in agonizing pain on the cross, the temple veil was ripped in two, and the ground quaked. He was buried in a tomb prepared for him, sealed by a heavy stone and blocked by roman soldiers. However, three days later he rose from the grave and ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand throne of God, in all his glory.

The visitation of Jesus’ love for everyone will be held at any place, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.., on Mondays through Sundays. Anyone may call upon him in their time of need, at anytime, by praying to him. His return is unknown at the moment, but he does promise us that he will return for his followers who abide in him.
